How did this start?

Aaliyah (6th grade) came home from school and asked to take some extra food to school for some kids who seemed hungry. Her mom, Annie, made a video on TikTok mentioning that she appreciated her daughter being able to see other people.

Aaliyah had a dream of providing food and resources for peers at school. With the help of over 5 million people all over the world who saw the initial video, an Amazon wishlist was created (and repeatedly cleared) to provide the resources to begin meeting the needs.

Support Squad is registered as a nonprofit with the State of Oregon and has applied to be a 501(c)3.

Aaliyah’s goal is to meet as many needs as possible.
